Oh yeah, that’s new in the last few years, it’s less expected of girls though
(and realtalk, it reflects the fact that these days there are more Mormon girls in target age group who aren’t in college or married yet)
The clothing guidelines say they can be approved to wear dress slacks (rather than skirts) in periods and places of high mosquito-borne illness, I wonder if that means they don’t get assigned bikes though
Wrong: It’s not new in the last few years. They changed the age requirement in the last few years from 21 to 19 for women (and from 19 to 18 for men), which did increase the number of woman missionaries in part due to hitting before the marriage cutoff you mentioned.
