@swampgallows, this really got me seeing the \u201ctoytown\u201d era of happy hardcore as a lot more continuous with mainstream British pop than I\u2019d realized (and given some of the reggae stuff, jungle too)

Just saw someone I was like \u201cwait is that Robert Smith or the Tom Baker Dr. Who\u201d and now I\u2019m pretty sure it was Siouxie Sioux, this is honestly pretty great

now it\u2019s Chrissie Hynde looking like Amy Winehouse in pale lipstick and a harlequin sweater, honestly all of this makes British pop make so much more sense
