Stepped on some uneven ground and my weak ankle gave way and rolled.</p><p>I\u2019m pretty good at rolling to land on my meaty parts, since my paratrooper father saw me climbing trees as a kid and taught me how to fall, but when my load-bearing leg gave way I didn\u2019t have any leverage and caught the ground with my fingers first, hyperextending them backwards</p><p>The result of all of which is today I can\u2019t do anything which requires two legs worth of weight-bearing or two hands worth of grip strength</p><p>Which isn\u2019t as bad as that time I twisted both ankles at once and couldn\u2019t independently bear weight on either, but it introduces more puzzle elements to my day than ideal</p>"}
