I don’t watch sitcoms, especially the formula/3-camera type, so uh, is someone keeping the “X double-schedules two dates” and “X walks in on Y in the shower, thinking they were Z” tropes alive?
Or are they dead like “X’s boss is coming to dinner (to inspect his private life for suitability to further elevation in the executive class) and his wife is NOT PREPARED”
(I just now realized that was what the Skinner/Chalmers bit with the aurora in the kitchen was riffing off of, the pathos being that mama’s boy Skinner plays the wife role too)
