She was the guy\u2019s defense attorney. I\u2019m sure she is guilty of innumerable crimes that would warrant execution in a more lawful society, but failing to use this tactic if she thot it would help her client would just be another one on that list.

And why does nobody ever seem to want to blame the juries in these cases? It\u2019s always the lawyers. Even if you blame the lawyers for making some argument, you can\u2019t blame them for the jury actually falling for it.

Yeah that\u2019s the foundation of legal ethics \u2013 a client places his entire life and worldly position in the hands of a lawyer (that\u2019s what \u201cpower of attorney\u201d means) \u2013 and if you in any way sacrifice their interests in favor of YOUR OWN moral sensibilities you are abusing the system to selfishly embezzle human life
