I’m thinking that “Ungame Era” I coined last night for the 70s-80s is a good one and I should start using it as a tag

The thing to remember is like they said the 60s didn’t reach most of America until the 70s; the 70s didn’t really make it far past California until the 80s

• Divorce (and the breakdown of early lifetime marriage)
• Liberationary utopianism narrowing to personality cults and navel-gazing
• Latchkey kids
• The retrospectively false dawn of post-Christianity and -heteronormativity

I am not particularly thinking

• Disco
• Yuppies

Though God knows they’re continuous with members of the set
