They have characters and personas yeah, but I’m thinking some concept drawn from contemporary culture or fans’ lives, broadly sketched but enough to spice plots up, enough so you can tune into a match blind and get the theme of the conflict - the Rich Guy, the Redneck, the Proud Mexicans, the Dentist, the Clown, the Midget Clown.
Poking around the web I’m told Emma was a “clumsy dancer”, dunno what that was but “stuck-up stripper” would be a great concept for acrobatic fight-soaps for the non-bougie. And where’s the pink-camo country girl? The blue-haired SJW? The “good Christian girl” always “revealing” a “naughty side” that’s actually tedious and tame? The girl doing the Bettie Page look? The Ivanka-standin rich girl?
WHERE IS THE DD/lg TAG TEAM
As is they all seem to be going as the Crossfit girl showing off her six-pack in the Tinder pic.
(But kontextmaschine, the boy wrestlers are also all ripped in revealing clothing yet you recognize distinctions, are you just reducing women’s identity to their appearances? Well fuck, I dunno, but the hell you’re gonna tell me the male gaze is why all these scenarios of girls play-fighting in two-pieces are so boring.)
