Pokemon Centers in the anime have had really good logistics. Along with the expected medical facilities, there are dormitories for traveling trainers:

But I miss low budget Pokemon Centers. Shitty Pokemon Centers. You know, the ones stuck in the middle of nowhere. The ones that don’t have dedicated cafeteria and beds.
The ones where Ash, Misty, and Brock had to couch surf:

seriously in a culture that does intercity travel by rail, taking numbered routes around from Kanto region to X region again etc. etc. is a pretty trucker-marked thing
