that’s why eva series ending is so important. sure, you can dream about the apocalypse, millions do. they’d love to hear that the zombies are coming, the nukes are coming, the racial holy war is coming, whatever, they revel in it, because it still leads into their personal fantasy, their useless daydreams. but the eva series ending points out that despite all that fantasy you’re still incomplete, you’re going to break down, and your tragedy in life is a personal apocalypse, not a fantasy one. you’re going to have to work through that, not drown yourself in fantasy, before you get anywhere.
