i cant believe sovereign citizens are real

it’s just so bizarre. basically the short version is that they believe that laws don’t apply to them as long as they figure out the right way to fill out government paperwork and make themselves stop being “slaves” (they really use that word because they literally believe the U.S. government sold them into slavery at birth). it’s such a bizarre conspiracy theory thats predicated on jack and shit.

i also forgot to mention that they think if you fill out the paperwork with the right combination of words, capitalization and fucking pen ink then you’ll somehow get the hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of dollars the government sold you for.
