It is 2023 and Princess Zelda is the standard reference subject for comparing AI models and prompts with reference to their effectiveness at generating erotic images of girls peeing themselves
I think it’s because there are enough images of various versions of her out there to generate a consistent aesthetic of what Princess Zelda and Princess Zelda’s clothes look like without looking exactly the same each time
re: shoe size, it could just be your foot muscles getting stronger and pulling your feet back into shape
Well I mean like almost a year ago before any topsoil pitching or maul smashing I noticed I had to take care arranging my feet to step on the brake so the edge of the sandal wasn’t brushing the gas.
I suspect it’s just that a 11.5 takes 12 for Teva but 11 for Ecco or something.
Oh, okay, next year I can get a season pass to the pool for $87. There are only like 4 front doors closer to that pool than mine. (Might actually be back doors, though – on the south side there are houses with backyard gates opening directly into the park.)
By D-Day the Atlantic Wall defenses had been reinforced several times, even taking seriously the need to muster and build up stockpiles in Britain an attack could have broken through the coastal defenses earlier.
…but those defenses were still enough to force a concentration of forces into a single spearpoint, which inland reserves could have mobilized to encircle and neutralize.“… until they were redeployed to the Eastern Front. It really was Russians fighting in the east that decided the European theater of WWII.
Of course, Stalin exerted whatever pressure he could to bring the West into the fight ASAP, but letting the Red Army bear the burden and pay the costs of attritting the Reich away and then only afterwards sweeping through a hollowed-out Western Front as the preferable option to surrender to was a critical part of Anglo-American grand strategy.
Even with that, they still then had to grind out a Cold War evenly matched enough to last half a century.

It’s not just that you don’t see students walking down the woodchip path to/from school in the summer, you don’t see moms pushing strollers to the park as much.
…or maybe my neighborhood turned over to a lot of young families in the last few years and their first kids are past stroller age now (the one next door is!)
you’ve lost a LOT of body fat so now swimming is harder in part because you’re less buoyant
Yeah, I’ve considered that too, in particular I wonder if the muscle gain/fat loss in my calves makes it harder for me to maintain my legs floating horizontal behind me as I kick. So I’m holding on to the edge of the pool and practicing kicking hard enough to lift them that way.
Had been meaning for a while to when I ordered this year’s sandals (Teva-style Eccos) try them one size smaller and yeah, as far as I can tell I’m actually an 11.5. (Now? Is this a weight loss thing?)
Anyway I didn’t actually get to the pool yesterday, apparently from this “nationwide lifeguard shortage” they were only running the shallow kids’ half. Wonder if that’s why they’re closing promptly next Sunday before school starts the following Tuesday.
But recalling the times before that, it just shows how wild it is trying to relearn muscle use (like I had to do walking, talking, or throwing) where you remember the main movement fine but all the little unconscious things it depends on are all wiped so you do it and it’s just an absolute failure.
Like, I remember how to swim like doing the strokes, it’s just that doesn’t keep me afloat or produce any actual propulsion now.
The most reliable thing I realized was that as I moved my limbs through the water I was instinctively bending and fluttering and moving with the flow to find the path of least resistance. But since motion in water comes from the reaction of pushing against it, I really want to make my limbs rigid and seek greatest resistance.
Things like that. A bit more pitching to firm up pelvic stability and I’ll be ready to try riding a bike again, I’m curious how that goes. I’m pretty sure I won’t immediately be able to ride hands-off again, at least.
One of Star Trek: The Next Generation’s missions was to give coherence to a world originally developed as a frame for the one-off episodes – completely disconnected SF stories using the same stock cast and setting – of the original series.
There’s an abortive first season plot about corruption in Starfleet that’s dropped once it’s established Starfleet isn’t interesting enough to bear more weight than as a plot device telling the Enterprise where to go this week.
Something underappreciated as a success though is that the original series had scads of godlike but trickstery or inhuman beings because individual writers (the Trek franchises were famously full of episodes by published SF writers and continued to take freelance episode pitches well after this had been widely abandoned in TV) kept finding the notion of the Enterprise dealing with one a solid premise.
And in TNG we instead get Q, this type condensed into a single recurring character, introduced in the pilot, getting 6 episodes to himself and then blessing the finale, going on to appear in other Trek shows across multiple galactic quadrants (also, basically My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, as the John de Lancie-voiced season 2 big bad Discord)
Huh, I feel pretty decent for putting out three bedloads yesterday. The 4-way seemed somehow low friction in that precise humidity so if I parked so the bed was tilted slightly downhill it just flowed out like water.
My creatine dose is nominally 5’ scoops heading for 4’ but to fill the hole from all the pitching-induced muscle growth/postexertionary symptoms I’m actually taking 10’/day right now, so I might get through “Normie Side of Overweight” and on to “Overweight Side of Normie” fairly soon.
I think that’ll fade totally within 3 weeks at most once I’m done.
Sometimes your content (and argumate and others) gets reposted to insta or BuzzFeed and now my girlfriend just asks "is this your friend"?
What’s really wild is seeing your stuff posted to Twitter and realizing users you recognize are in fact people you know in real life cause they recognize the real-you from the [tumblr] posted to Twitter
My stomach’s getting smaller but more noticeably harder recently, which makes me suspect this topsoil pitching is developing my core so that a wall of muscle is firming up behind the fat.
Okay, four and a half yards of four-way out, just one and a half more to fill in Blueberry Hill, then at least 6 topsoil and one each of bark nuggets and wood chips. Dunno if I’ll do any tomorrow, want to be fresh for a Saturday afternoon pinball match, now off to the pool, which closes next Sunday.
