Polesaw back in action, I suppose given all the trees are bare now and “polesawing” is still open it’s a judgement call to put today in “post-fall”, but it was stuff, mostly on the tree in the middle of the backyard, I had been waiting for a clear view on. I’ve finally trained that one to a leader, which involved cutting things in the right order for several years so the right branches filled in the gaps. Mostly been collecting leaves and dumping them on Strawberry Ridge, which as a “til there are no more to get” task didn’t have a time estimate.

Realized my sake cup advent calendar only covers December, so I’ve been getting ahead of myself and’ll have to take a few days’ break

Yeah! It looked a lot like the river around my childhood home. (They look alike because there were a lot of rivers in the old part of my town)

It was really refreshing. I went there for a walk, but the walk didn’t really happen because it was so chilly out that I would walk around the river and then turn back because it was just chilly and uncomfortable – I wanted to be in a place where it was comfortable enough to be walking around, which meant inside because it was cold.

Well, it’s not all old, but I have a lot of photos by this spot of the river from my childhood that I will share. (I used to go there when I was younger and would pretend I was a pirate while I was “exploring the river” and “fighting the river” on my bike)

I don’t have any of the mill, but I remember I also explored the abandoned house a lot growing up (I guess it used to be a hotel? I’m not sure).

Also note creatine does not by itself give me energy, it just enables me to convert stored fat into energy at a higher rate, so to the extent I’ve been using it instead of aerobically generated energy from blood sugar this last year it means that on top of remaking my personality and prerational nature to optimum, driving me to more regular physical activity and building more muscle per unit of work Covid is also burning fat like no one’s business, on a drive, apparently, towards making me some kinda hunk
