Was just holding a knife and jam jar spreading a PB&J and realized the muscles controlling motion at the shoulders, elbows, and wrists have all developed recently such that the body was taking feedback to adjust proportions of use when applying 3D transformations to handheld objects, and good thing we’re long past the part where my mind struggled to comprehend motion in three-dimensional space because that would have been Lovecraftian.

Man not only was this fence everything my year was building to but what a lot of stuff was locked behind, real bottleneck, now I have more stuff to do but not in a “there’s always something” sense, in a sense that greyed out stuff just unlocked.

I fucking hate languages.

The Greeks had this word, right, we have no idea where it came from, it just kinda popped up out of nowhere, and it could mean either apples, cheeks, or boobs. Problem is it looked and sounded *exactly* like another, unrelated word which could mean sheep, goat, or any animal in general really, which must have got confusing if you were a farmer talking about your livestock, but anyway…

Then the Romans, having stolen practically everything else from the Greeks, thought they’d nick this word too, because Latin isn’t confusing enough without throwing in a bunch of loan words. And they adopted it to mean a pumpkin.

Then the English came along and were all like “when in Rome”, and stole it, where it became our word ‘melon’. Which has now come back to mean boobs.

How do you like them apples.

The big power-producing motive muscles are fine, what’s still sore are the little helper ones that align them right for various purposes, but those are the ones I can like rotate a leg and lie it down and suddenly take all weight off and it feels heavenly

Inspected the fence enough to notice more subtle disappointments, like a gate opening I wanted 50" from outer edge to edge of the posts framing it was delivered at 60" and not shifted as far left as I wanted, but nothing unmanageable (but only cause when I hire a fence specialist to finish it I’m getting custom gates, if I was trying to use a premade 4’ door for that gate like I originally thought and wanted it sized for it’d be disastrous)

Alright a lot of my yard work was in one way or another leading up to this fence. I’m gonna keep on this topsoil but I’m already at least halfway there, so hopefully gonna have an idea what I’m doing next by then. Would like to line up some fence guys for the next section and doors, I’ve already asked homeowner guys for recommendations, honestly probably not worth holding out for the best sense of vision, just they can continue what the first guys started and have experience with gates with single side keyed locks.
