I will say Spotify is good at putting things in context. If I were to create a playlist of “Duran Duran-adjacent music” I’d get some of this bigger 90s pop stuff but some I’d never heard of.

Coming back from the bar there was actual life on the street after dark, the neighborhood’s really coming up. A lot of raggedy street people though, where there weren’t last week, I wonder if a nearby encampment got rousted.
Finally managed to get something to a pinball friend I never know when I’m gonna see and had in fact moved to the East Coast, checking off a to-do item open for several years before the plague.
Kinda counterintuitive (“my belt is too tight since I lost weight!”), but I think I need pants with a narrower waist so I don’t have to cinch the belt this tightly to keep them from falling down.
Feeling more the summer side of spring than the winter one
Silk sheets were so fresh last night at one point I woke halfway, felt them, and became convinced the entire bed was soaking wet
Getting to the warm season when Badger’s out so much I fear he’s gone; he wasn’t here when I woke up early for the tree guys and afterwards couldn’t find him, no one touched the food in the dish, I was thinking about how it would make it ironic if he went missing that I just talked about being specially blessed lately, and what a shadow it would cast over my weight loss posting if I was hoping for him to come back the whole time, but he finally came in the window and meowed complaining and I got to pick him up and nuzzle him.
Alright I had to get up ass early, but the tree guys were just guys with a bucket truck who knew how to trim trees (and left the wood behind) and instead of staying around to reconnect power the electrical guys rigged me a new line in a better location.
This means that for the first time since I got the house, and before that decades at least, all of the trees are fully trimmed.
The top side of the stomach has felt smooth like a baby’s bottom for a week.
I don’t know what that is, months ago rubbing it would exfoliate it. Maybe somehow related to the usually blemish-inducing shrinking of the skin where it creates smaller new bottom layers?
